About Michaela

I’m Michaela Bell and I’m a PEI and New Brunswick wedding photographer. I love cats, sunsets, and belly laughs. I’m always up for an adventure and will travel just about anywhere to take photographs. My favorite types of weddings to shoot are quirky elopements and small, intimate weddings. What led me to become a PEI wedding photographer? Well, I was in middle school when I started taking photos on an iPod 4. That’s where my interest in photography began and it’s only grown from there. I graduated from MacKenzie College with a degree in Photography Media Art in 2018. Yeppers! I was serious about learning and developing my skills so I could build my dream career. ’ve been self-employed as a wedding photographer in PEI and New Brunswick ever since.
Some of my favourite things (in no particular order)…
Hanging out with my dad. (He’s my best friend!) / Captain America / My cat Precious-the fluffiest most adorable creature ever. / Adventuring with my boyfriend, making memories. / Red dirt roads. PEI’s dirt has no business being so gorgeous! It makes it easy to be a PEI wedding photographer. / Going for walks, hanging out with friends, camping in tents. / Breakfast dates, watching seagulls, getting lost, and finding my way back home.
