Charlottetown is one of my favorite spots to do weddings on the East end of Prince Edward Island. Charlottetown has so many beautiful spots to get married to your significant other, and so many locations to get pictures for your family, wedding party, and even couple pictures. Charlottetown also has so many amazing vendors in the area as well. It may be a little city but it’s truly big at heart.

Words from Rebecca & Jonas…

What is your favorite memory of a moment from your wedding day? The first look in the courtyard – it had only been a few hours since we’d seen each other but it’s was still such a great, private moment!

Why did you choose your wedding venue? What was special about it? The ceremony itself was held at St Paul’s church, where Rebecca grew up. Our reception was held at the Hopyard – we’ve been there several times for lunches, evening get-togethers, and it’s just always such a great time. The management and chef were so accommodating and helpful with creating our vision for the day!

Describe the “vibes” or feeling you were going for when planning your day? Simple and just pure fun! It was the first time all of our families and friends had been all together since COVID began, so we were all just so happy and excited, to begin with, that the entire day was like a 16 hour party!

What is one piece of advice you would give to future brides planning their wedding? Keep it simple! Less to stress about.
